The Wounded Warrior Resource Center Web site (WWRC) is a Department of Defense Web site which provides wounded Service Members, their families, and caregivers with information they need on military facilities, health care services, and benefits. It supports access to the Wounded Warrior Resource Call Center and trained specialists who are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by phone at 1-800-342-9647 or by e-mail at wwrc@militaryonesource.com.

- Coalition to Salute America's Heroes - Family Support Network Provides housing in private homes and hotels for free or at significantly discounted costs to family members during a service member's recovery. Reduced cost meals and airline flights are also available to assist with traveling expenses.
- Fisher House Comfort Homes Free temporary housing for families of patients receiving medical care at major military and VA medical centers. Download the Fisher House fact sheet. Also sponsors a scholarship program for military spouses.
- Hope for the Warriors - Warrior House Provides transitional, adapted living quarters for wounded service members and their families until they can find suitable long-term housing, lodging for families visiting wounded service members at the Wounded Warrior Barracks (Maxwell Hall) or Naval Hospital Camp Lejeune, and adaptive housing for wounded Marines and sailors returning to Camp Lejeune for their unit homecomings.
- Military Lodging Planning information for cost-effective lodging opportunities for service members, retirees and their families. Call these numbers for on-base lodging or get information about Armed Forces Recreation Centers (AFRCs).
- Operation Homefront Village Rent free housing for wounded service members, veterans and their families during the transition process and other services.
- Pentagon Federal Credit Union Foundation Provides a suite of rooms for soldiers diagnosed with terminal cancer so that they can spend their final days comfortably, surrounded by family and friends.
- Sentinels of Freedom Scholarships for certain severely wounded veterans, which include up to four years of rent-free adaptive housing.
- Temporary Housing While You Wait For Installation Housing How to find and use temporary lodging facilities while waiting for installation housing at a new duty station.
- U.S. VETS Provides housing, counseling, job assistance and hope to homeless and at-risk veterans. Call toll-free 1-877-527-8387 to find a location, or submit an online request for assistance.
- Veterans Assistance Foundation (VAF) Operates transitional housing programs for military veterans who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. Find out about the Homeless Veterans' Reintegration Program.
